Izzy, Jo, her daughter Hayley, Emily and I drove out to Abbotsford today to tour a Vintage Fair. There were beautiful items on sale from several vendors and I bought myself a cute little suitcase.

I've been on the look out for a little birdhouse to hang in the big tree outside my patio where I spend hours watching the birds and yesterday, I found the perfect one. Hubby was a dear and figured out how to hang it in the branches for me. Within hours, two little chickadees were checking it out! I watched again patiently after work today but we had no visitors. Maybe tomorrow?

It was glorious to see and feel the sun this evening. I sat on my patio and enjoyed the warmth. My patio brings me such tranquility. I just love spending time out here, watching and listening to the birds.

Friday night Sushi at Toshi's with Whit. The BEST sushi in town. You have to be there early, like before the doors open at 5 pm or else the Sushi Nazi will make you wait until the tables empty.
